The foundation of our approach is absolutely our working relationship with you. When we build a trusting connection, we can do great work! We value creating a space where you feel comfortable sharing who you are, what you value, and what you want to accomplish together. You deserve to be a healthy, happy, and high-performing version of yourself. Our approach is multiculturally informed and we consider the facets of your identity and life experiences as we decide how best to tackle your goals.

What makes us unique? As clinically licensed therapists who ALSO have expertise in sports psychology, we have the full breadth of training to understand the context in which your challenges are occurring. This matters. For example, imagine you're experiencing difficulty with motivation. It is important to work with a provider who can understand what's contributing to your lack of motivation rather than jumping right into teaching a mental skill. It wouldn't serve you to work on a skill like goal setting if your lack of motivation is better explained by difficulty in another area of your life, like anxiety, perfectionism, or burnout! We take the time to truly get to know you so that we can understand your challenges more fully and have every opportunity to make greater progress toward your goals.

Our work together will likely involve processing your experiences, learning new skills, using humor and honesty to explore hard things, and trying out new ways of approaching your challenges. If you're motivated to understand yourself more deeply and you're willing to try new ways of approaching challenges, we will likely be a good fit. We've worked with countless clients at all levels of competition, and we look forward to helping you!
