Executive Coaching for
High-Performing Leaders

You're succeeding by every measure — and something still feels off. I work with high-performing leaders in San Antonio and across the U.S. on the psychology underneath: burnout, identity, and what sustainable success actually looks like.

where we begin

The career is there. The title, the income, the respect of people around you — all of it. And yet something has shifted. The work that used to feel meaningful now feels like maintenance. You’re executing at a high level, but you’re not sure what you’re executing toward anymore.

Maybe it shows up as a quiet numbness you can’t quite name. A growing distance from the things that used to drive you. A sense that the version of success you’ve built doesn’t quite fit anymore — but you’re not sure what would.

Or perhaps the challenge is different: you’ve moved from being the person who did the work to the person who leads the people who do it. And that transition is harder than you expected — not because you lack the capability, but because it requires a fundamentally different relationship with yourself.

Either way, you’re not here because something is broken. You’re here because you’re the kind of person who takes their development seriously — and you’re ready to go somewhere most leadership conversations don’t go.

the difference

Why psychology-based executive coaching

I’m a licensed psychologist — not a business consultant or a certified coach — which means the work we do together is grounded in how people actually change, not just how they plan to.

Most leadership development stays at the level of strategy and skill. We’ll address what you want to do differently. But we’ll also look at what’s underneath: the identity pressures, the psychological patterns, the beliefs about what it means to perform, lead, and succeed that have been running quietly in the background for years.

This is the work that most coaching doesn’t get to, and that most therapy doesn’t apply to your professional life. I work at that intersection intentionally.

My background includes work with elite athletes, coaches, and high-performing professionals across competitive environments. The people I work with are not struggling in the conventional sense — they are succeeding, and they want what comes next to be sustainable, meaningful, and on their own terms.

The leaders I work with

My executive coaching clients tend to fall into one of three experiences:

The High Performer Who Has Gone Quiet

You have built something real. A career, a reputation, a level of success that most people would consider the goal. But lately, the drive that got you here has faded. You’re going through the motions with competence and very little aliveness. Life satisfaction, meaning, and your sense of purpose have started to feel like someone else’s conversation.

You don’t need someone to fix you. You need someone who can help you figure out what’s actually happening — and what a sustainable path forward looks like that doesn’t require you to keep running on empty.

The High Achiever with an Overactive Inner Critic

You hold yourself to a standard that most people around you can’t see. Externally, you’re composed and capable. Internally, the bar keeps moving. The wins don’t land the way they should. Mistakes replay longer than they deserve. The pursuit of excellence has quietly become a pursuit of proof.

This kind of perfectionism often drives extraordinary results — until it doesn’t. We work on building a more sustainable relationship with your own standards: one that preserves the drive without the psychological cost.

The Doer Who Is Becoming a Leader

You rose through the ranks by being exceptionally good at the work itself. Now your job is to lead the people who do that work — and the skills that made you successful are no longer the primary ones you need.

This transition is disorienting in ways that don’t always get named. It’s not just a skills gap — it’s an identity shift. We work on both: building the interpersonal effectiveness and leadership presence your role now requires, while also clarifying who you are in this new version of your professional life.

focus areas

What we work on

Coaching engagements are tailored to what you’re navigating. Common areas include:

  • Sustainable Performance & Burnout Recovery — Understanding what drove you here, what has depleted you, and how to build a relationship with your work that doesn’t require constant sacrifice.

  • Leadership Presence & Interpersonal Effectiveness — How you show up with your team, how you communicate under pressure, and how you build trust and influence without losing yourself in the process.

  • Identity & Values Clarification — Reconnecting with what actually matters to you — not the version you’ve inherited or performed, but the one you’re actively choosing.

  • Role Transitions & Organizational Change — Moving into new levels of leadership, navigating significant organizational shifts, or stepping back to evaluate what’s next.

  • Emotional Regulation & Performance Under Pressure — Building the capacity to remain clear, grounded, and effective when the stakes are high and the margin for error is narrow.

the process

How we work together

We begin with a complimentary 15-minute conversation to get a sense of where you are, what you’re working toward, and whether this feels like the right fit. There’s no agenda beyond that.

If we move forward, I don’t work from a fixed program or a predetermined timeline. The structure of our work — how often we meet, what we focus on, how we track progress — is shaped by you: your goals, your schedule, and what the work itself reveals over time.

Most clients meet weekly or biweekly. The work tends to deepen with continuity — the leaders I work with aren’t looking for a quick intervention; they’re invested in genuine, lasting change.

Sessions are available in-person in San Antonio or virtually. I work with clients across Texas and beyond.

Executive coaching is a private-pay service priced separately from my therapy and sport psychology fees. Investment details are shared during our initial consultation.
